WORKSHOP: CERTIFICATION AND LABELING DE LED LAMPS AND PUBLIC LAMPS
OBJETIVO
This WORKSHOP aims to discuss the main aspects related to INMETRO certification for LED lamps and public luminaires. Having as speakers, specialists working in the lighting market and representatives of the certification regulators INMETRO and Selo_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58ccd_Procel,318de9-0 -136bad5cf58d_que may clarify doubts técnicas e of the certification and labeling processes.
It will technically address the performance characteristics of LEDs, the standards and the required tests, as INMETRO Ordinances and their revision proposals.
Test results will be discussed on certified LED lamps collected on the market and analyzed in independent laboratories and by INMETRO.
The WORKSHOP aims to help manufacturers, importers, laboratories and OCPs in the compulsory processes for the certification of LED lamps and public luminaires by presenting the required requirements and enabling interaction between the organizations involved.

ALESSANDRA DA COSTA BARBOSA PIRES DE SOUZA
Electrical engineer graduated from UFRJ, with a technical course in Electrotechnics from CEFET/RJ, works in the lighting area since 2000, worked on energy efficiency projects in the PROCEL and ReLuz programs at Eletrobrás. A Cepel employee since 2006, he is currently Manager of the Lighting Laboratory.
DANIEL BOUTS
Architect and Urbanist graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ. Specialist in Energy Efficiency by the Specialization Course on the Rational Use of Energy at UNIFEI. He has worked at Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A - Eletrobras since 2005, within the scope of the National Electric Energy Conservation Program - Procel, in which he is part of the nucleus responsible for managing the Procel Seal in the Lighting and Solar Water Heating segments.
GUSTAVO IERVOLINO DE MORAIS
Electrical Engineer with emphasis in Telecommunications at PUC-Campinas. He has experience in the field of testing for product certification against ANATEL and INMETRO standards. Responsible for the Technical Support of the Laboratory of Tests and Tests of the Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado, secretary of the EMC Study Commissions of ABNT, member of the Technical Subcommittee on EMC of INMETRO.
JULIANA IWASHITA
Architect from FAU-USP, Master in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP. Member of ABNT/COBEI, CB-03, where she worked as Coordinator of the Technical Standards Commission for Lighting Applications and Photometric Measurements. Member of IESNA and ASBAI. CGCRE/INMETRO specialist in the scope of LED lamps and public lighting para os certification processes. Director and consultant at EXPER Soluções Luminotécnicas.
LEONARDO MACHADO ROCHA
Engenheiro Eletricista, com ênfase em Telecomunicações, pelo CEFET-RJ, Mestre Profissional em Sistemas de Gestão pela – UFF.
Researcher-Technologist in Metrology and Quality, at the Conformity Assessment Board of the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – INMETRO, since 2002.
LUCIANO HAAS ROSITO
Electrical Engineer graduated from PUCRS with specialization in Business Management. Former coordinator of CEIP – Center of Excellence in Public Lighting and of the LABELO/PUCRS Lighting Area. Coordinator of Study Commissions and work groups to study public lighting at ABNT/COBEI. Professor of public lighting courses and author of articles on the subject.
ROBERTO MENDONÇA
Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Product and Lighting Certification. Technical responsible for the lighting area at UL do Brasil, working directly in the certification of LED lamps with integrated control device and Luminaires for Street Lighting. He is the president of the Technical Commission on Lighting of ABRAC (Brazilian Association for Conformity Assessment) and professor of the electrotechnical course at ETEC Jaraguá.
