Environmental sanitizer with UV-C led
Mechanism of action
Small, light and portable, SterBox purifies the ambient air by eliminating viruses, fungi and bacteria, suspended in the air and deposited on surfaces.
Uses 275nm wavelength UV-C led, being a non-visible light with highly germicidal capacity, as it has the property to break the internal bonds of nucleic acids, both DNA and RNA of microorganisms.
Safe product since UV-C radiation is not exposed to human contact, the SterBox works by capturing ambient air, decontaminating it in the inner chamber where UV-C radiation is found and releasing clean air.
Where and how to use
SterBox has been customized for 3 types of application:
- Environmental - Standard model
- Lifts model
- Cars - Mobi Model
The standard model is indicated for environmental cleaning of offices, clinics, hospitals, offices, stores, homes, among others, and can be used in any environment where you want to clean the air.
The Lift model was customized for application in elevators as it stays on for 24h / 7d and comes with an accessory for fixing to the elevator.
The Mobi model is suitable for automobiles and public transport such as ubers, taxis and buses because it remains on while the vehicle is on and comes with a seat attachment.
Each equipment was designed for asepsis of environments up to 15m³. So for larger environments just add a device every 15m³ and connect them via the USB cable to the power.

The Square Granja Viana
In order to gauge the effectiveness of the product, EXPER in partnership with the product manufacturer, O2 LED Ilumination, hired the LS ANALYSES Laboratory, to carry out microbiological tests in elevators, located at The Square Granja Viana Shopping Open Mall.
Samples of the bacteria were inoculated Staphylococcus Aureus on the ceiling, walls and floor surfaces of the elevator and samples were collected from these areas after exposure of the SterBox Lift for 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes.
The result of the microbiological evaluation of the collected samples demonstrated a reduction of 99.70% of the bacteria after 30 minutes and 99.99% after exposure to 120 minutes of the product in the closed elevator.
