LIGHTING CONTROLS FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The course covers lighting control from the fundamentals of dimming to the integration of lighting control into BMS (Building Management Systems). The fundamentals of control networks are presented (protocols, interfaces, areas of action), providing the participant with a holistic view of the control of building facilities. The various lighting control strategies are emphasized, including reduction of lighting loads, dimming, sensing and use of natural light. Emphasizes the importance of lighting control for building certification processes.

MAURO KUSZNIR
Mauro Kusznir has a master's degree in Architecture from FAU-USP and has been working for more than 10 years in the commercial automation design and consulting market, having participated in projects and deployments of several certified buildings. He currently directs Studiolo Projetos e Consultoria and is a postgraduate professor at Estácio de Sá University.
